HOW IT'S SCORED

Overall SW Score weighting

Each point on the radar is a dimension scored 0–100, weighted by how much it shapes a night out. Balanced shapes mean well-rounded clubs; spikes mean a venue excels at one thing but not others.

Tap any dimension's own info icon to see which sub-metrics feed into it.

SW SCORE · 45/100

How scoring works

SW Score is a weighted composite across four dimensions — property, service, food, and performers — measured across 27 sub-metrics and a separate value score.

Sub-metric signals are pulled from verified reviews, venue data, and website text. Each dimension rolls up into a 0-100 score, which feeds the weighted overall.

How to read the shape: a balanced radar means a well-rounded club. A spiked shape means it excels at one thing and not others. Tap any dimension below for its full breakdown.

Wild Night with Friends We hit up McHale's for my buddy's bachelor party and had a blast. The beer prices were unbeatable ($2.75 for a cold one) and the dancers were on point. The only letdown was the parking, but it's Corning, what can you expect? We spent the night on the stage dancing with the girls, and it was an awesome time.

A Decent Night Out I'm a local, so I'm used to McHale's. The atmosphere is...diverse, and I mean that in a good way. The dancers are always friendly, but the stage can get a bit cramped. Drink prices are still super cheap, and the private dances are worth the $20-$30. Overall, it's a solid spot for a night out with friends, but don't expect anything fancy.

Not Impressed As a first-timer, I wasn't blown away by McHale's. The club has a weird vibe, like it's stuck between trying to be a dive bar and a strip club. The dancers were okay, but the private dances felt overpriced. The weakness in the amenities (and parking, ugh) really stood out to me. Maybe I just caught it on a bad night, but I won't be back anytime soon.
