Who this applies to.
This Policy applies to information we collect when you use Stripper Warehouse (the Service) — including when you browse the site, create an account, submit content, message other users, or interact with our emails or product pages. It does not apply to third-party sites or services we link to, which have their own privacy practices.
Capitalized terms used but not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.
What we collect.
(a) Information you provide
- Account: email, password (hashed), name or stage name, account type, and, where applicable, phone number, city/state, and date of birth for age verification.
- Profile: bio, photo, preferences, availability, and any other details you choose to publish on your profile.
- Content: reviews, ratings, comments, uploaded images, listings (for clubs or vendors), and other material you submit.
- Messages: content and metadata of direct messages you send and receive through the Service.
- Support: information in any question or report you send us.
(b) Information collected automatically
- Device & log data: IP address, device type, operating system, browser type and version, pages viewed, referrer, and timestamps.
- Usage data: features used, search queries, clicks, and similar interactions.
- Approximate location: derived from IP address to tailor content (for example, nearby listings). We do not collect precise GPS location unless you explicitly enable it.
- Cookies & similar technologies: see § 6.
(c) Information from third parties
- Verification services (if we use them to confirm age, identity, or club ownership claims).
- Analytics providers that help us understand how the Service is used.
- Public and commercial sources (for example, to populate a club listing from publicly available data).
How we use information.
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including account creation, authentication, and messaging;
- Generate and display listings, reviews, ratings, scores, and recommendations;
- Personalize content and rank search results;
- Communicate with you about your account, service updates, and our products;
- Respond to support requests, feedback, and reports;
- Monitor, investigate, and enforce compliance with our Terms, including detecting fraud, abuse, harassment, trafficking, and other prohibited conduct;
- Measure usage, debug, and improve the Service;
- Comply with legal obligations, including responding to lawful requests from public authorities;
- Protect the rights, property, or safety of users, third parties, or us;
- Create de-identified or aggregated data, which we may use and share for any purpose.
Legal bases (where applicable).
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following: contract (to provide the Service you request), consent (for certain optional features), legitimate interests (to operate, secure, and improve the Service), and legal obligation (to comply with law). For messaging content and safety-related processing, we rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the Service safe and lawful and, where applicable, legal obligation.
How we share information.
We share information only as described below. We do not sell personal information for money.
- Publicly on the Service. Content you post to public areas — including reviews, ratings, profile details you mark as public, and listings — is visible to other users and may be indexed by search engines.
- Other users. Information you make available to other users (for example, in messages or shared profile fields) is visible to those users.
- Service providers. Vendors who help us run the Service (hosting, databases, email delivery, analytics, error monitoring, fraud prevention, identity verification) process information on our behalf under confidentiality and security obligations.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to: (a) comply with law, subpoena, court order, or government request; (b) enforce our Terms; (c) detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, or safety of any person.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
- With your direction. We share information at your explicit request or with your consent.
- Aggregated or de-identified. We may share data that no longer identifies you for any purpose.
Who can see what on your profile.
Each piece of information we collect on your profile is classified into one of three visibility tiers. You'll see a small icon next to each field during registration and in your profile settings that indicates its tier. You can review and change the tier for most fields at any time.
- Private. Visible only to you and to Stripper Warehouse staff for the limited purposes described in this Policy (support, safety, legal compliance). Examples: your email address, password, date of birth, phone number, legal name on file, and business verification details. We do not share private fields with other users, and we do not display them on any page visible outside your account.
- Users-only. Visible to other signed-in Stripper Warehouse members but not to the general public or search engines. Examples: your messaging handle, certain profile details (such as interests or preferences), and direct messages between members. Users-only fields are not indexed by search engines and are not returned from unauthenticated API endpoints, though signed-in members may still copy or share content they see.
- Public. Visible to anyone on the internet, including search engines. Examples: your username, your stage name (if you are a performer), your public bio, your profile photo, your city and state, your storefront listings, and your public reviews or ratings. Public content may be cached or indexed by third parties outside our control, so you should assume public information can persist elsewhere even after you remove it from the Service.
Defaults and your control. We set reasonable defaults per account type — for example, a performer's stage name defaults to public because it is the basis for their storefront, while a customer's real name defaults to private. You can adjust each field's tier in your profile settings. Some fields are locked to a specific tier because the Service cannot function otherwise (for example, an email address is always private; a public storefront must have a visible username).
Business verification. Information you submit for postal-mail business verification (legal business name, mailing address, verification code) is stored in the private tier and is not displayed on your public profile. We use it only to confirm that you control the physical premises associated with a Club or Vendor account.
Cookies and similar technologies.
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember your session and preferences, measure usage, and detect abuse. The categories we use include:
- Strictly necessary: required for login, session management, security, and core functionality.
- Functional: remember preferences and display settings.
- Analytics: help us understand how the Service is used in aggregate.
You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where offered, through on-site controls. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may break parts of the Service. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out of "sale" or "sharing" under applicable state laws, to the extent any such activity applies to us.
Your choices.
- Account information. Sign in to view, update, or correct most information on your profile.
- Email. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the email. We will still send you transactional messages (for example, password resets, service notices, moderation actions).
- Account deletion. You may request deletion by emailing privacy@stripperwarehouse.com. After deletion, we may retain limited records as required by law, to resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or enforce our Terms. Public reviews may be anonymized rather than removed.
- Cookies. Manage through your browser or device.
- Location. You can disable precise location in your device settings.
U.S. state privacy rights.
Residents of certain U.S. states have additional rights under state privacy laws (including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and Montana). Depending on your state, you may have the right to:
- Know / access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Delete personal information we hold about you;
- Port information you have provided;
- Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising;
- Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information;
- Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights.
How to exercise. Email privacy@stripperwarehouse.com with your state and the right you wish to exercise. We may verify your identity before responding. You may authorize an agent to act on your behalf; we may require proof of authorization.
California "Shine the Light." California Civil Code § 1798.83 permits California residents to request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
Notice of financial incentive. We do not offer financial incentives in exchange for personal information.
EU / UK users.
The Service is directed to users in the United States. If you access it from the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you may have rights under the GDPR or UK GDPR, including the rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. You may contact privacy@stripperwarehouse.com to exercise these rights and may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
By using the Service from outside the United States, you consent to your information being transferred to and processed in the United States, which may not provide the same level of data protection as your country of residence.
How long we keep information.
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, operate our business, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by type of information and context. Public content (such as reviews) may remain on the Service after your account is closed, in anonymized form, to preserve the integrity of our ratings and community record.
Security.
Age restriction.
The Service is for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, email privacy@stripperwarehouse.com.
Where your information is processed.
We are based in, and process information in, the United States. If you are located outside the United States, information you provide will be transferred to and processed in the United States and potentially in other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
Third-party sites.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites, products, and services (including Amazon and other merchants). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, which we do not control. Review those policies before providing personal information.
Changes to this Policy.
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
